岐阜県・多治見市にある「ゲストハウス北政」は、築150年以上の古民家の一部を利用した宿泊施設です。
東濃地方と呼ばれるこのエリアは、600年以上の伝統がある志野焼・織部焼の日本有数の陶器生産地です。近隣には陶芸教室もあり、ご滞在中に陶芸体験をすることもできます。
また、当ゲストハウスは蔵や古い商家をショップやカフェ、ギャラリーに改装した店などが軒を連ねる「本町オリベストリート」からも近く、レトロな町並みの散策もお楽しみいただけます。
Guest House Kitamasa, located in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, is an accommodation facility that uses part of an old folk house that was built over 150 years ago.
This area, known as the Tono region, is one of Japan’s leading pottery producing regions of Shino ware and Oribe ware, with a tradition of over 600 years. There is also a pottery class nearby, so you can try your hand at making pottery during your stay.
Our guesthouse is also close to Honmachi Oribe Street, which is lined with warehouses and old merchant houses that have been converted into shops, cafes, and galleries, so you can enjoy strolling through the retro townscape.
